CIM Srl owns a dedicated plant for post-welding heat treatment and material stress relief with dimensions 4000mmx3000mmx2000mm(H).

The large size of the plant allows the stress relief cycle to be applied even on large parts such as railway bogies and sleepers. The operations involve the use of heating at extreme temperatures and cooling at room temperature, in times specified by the customer's technical specifications. Here, heat treatment is guaranteed by the use of calibrated thermocouples for constant temperature measurement and control.
