CIM srl is a leading company in two very important machining processes: turning and milling. The department boasts a diversified, first-class machine park: CNC lathes, machining centres, CNC milling machines, three gantry milling machines up to traditional machines. The different CNC milling machines, all with bi-rotary heads, can work on a maximum length of 16 metres, a width of 3 metres and a height of 2.5 metres.
High-performance, state-of-the-art machine is the 16-metre gantry cutterwhich allows the machining of large products and is in addition to the other 2 'big' machines with 14 and 12 metre portals. The CNC lathes are equipped with bar feeders, twin spindles and motorised tools. Completing the department are several CNC multi-tool machining centres, as well as conventional milling machines and lathes, chamfering machines and drills.
